Our 48/96 work schedule is a big draw for many of our employees. You will work 48 hours on duty and then have 96 hours off duty, allowing you to decompress and spend time with loved ones. Allowable Leave Incentives:

  • Allowable leave incentives:

  • Sick Leave- Accrual 12 hours per pay period

  • Vacation Leave- After completion of the first year= 216 hours

  • Military Leave- 120/ year

  • Funeral/ Bereavement Leave- 48 hours

$3500 Annual HSA (Health Savings Account)

  • Compounding (Employer contributes to this account annually) 

  • Transferable (Taken by the employee upon separation)

Assistant Chief Of Training

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Valid Missouri Driver's License (within 6 months of employment offer)

  • Ten (10) Years of Fire Service Experience

  • Five (5) Years of  Fire Service Supervisory Experience

  • Advanced ICS (NIMS 300/400)

  • State of Missouri EMT-Basic License 

  • IFSAC or Pro Board Fire Officer III

  • IFSAC or Pro-Board Fire Instructor II

  • IFSAC or Pro-Board Fire Investigator

  • First Responder Inspector or Above

  • Live-Fire Instructor-In-Charge

  • Successful Completion of a Fit-For-Duty Test
