Our 48/96 work schedule is a big draw for many of our employees. You will work 48 hours on duty and then have 96 hours off duty, allowing you to decompress and spend time with loved ones. Battalion Chief

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Valid Missouri Driver's License (within 6 months of employment offer)

  • Seven (7) Years as a Career Firefighter

  • Three (3) Years as a Company Officer or Equivalent

  • State of Missouri EMT-Basic License (or NREMT)

  • IFSAC or Pro-Board Firefighter I & II

  • IFSAC or Pro Board Fire Officer II

  • IFSAC or Pro-Board Fire Instructor I

  • IFSAC or Pro-Board Fire Inspector I

  • ICS NIMS 400

  • Obtain IFSAC or Pro-Board Fire Investigator within one (1) year of appointment.
