Our 48/96 work schedule is a big draw for many of our employees. You will work 48 hours on duty and then have 96 hours off duty, allowing you to decompress and spend time with loved ones.   • Sick Leave- Accrual 12 hours per pay period

  • Vacation Leave- After 6 months = Allowed to borrow 48 hours from your first year, After completion of the first year= 216 hours

  • Military Leave- 120/ year

  • Funeral/ Bereavement Leave- 48 hours

We are currently looking to fill the following roles:

 Firefighter – Entry Level

Minimum Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • IFSAC or ProBoard Fire fighter I & II within 90 days of hire date.

  • State of Missouri emergency Medical Technician (or equivalent) license or higher within 90 days of hire.

  • ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 700 and ICS 800

  • Successful completion of Tri-State Recruiting Alliance test within past 12 months, OR within the probationary period.

  • Applicant must be at least 18 years of age by the closing date of the recruitment period.

  • Possession of a valid State Driver's License, and a safe driving record.

  • Applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check.

  • Candidates are required to successfully complete a physical post offer employment screening and an occupational medical evaluation prior to appointment.
