The Citizens Fire Academy is a wonderful opportunity for members of the community to get involved and become spokespersons for the district. Citizens can participate in a 10-week program designed to provide information about different aspects of the fire service profession. Including Ozark Fire Protection District history, fire service operations, and national trends that affect service delivery.
As a member of the Citizens Fire Academy members will get to participate in lectures covering a wide range of fire service knowledge. Members will also participate in many fun challenges to better understand what a firefighter encounter daily. Applications can be found under the documents section of our website.
